'Kay, so this is sort of a weird one, though one of my favorite collabs to date. See, this is based on a dream I had, in which I saw - THIS, really, and described it to ~ILoveKnives. It's almost SCARY how well he captured it, I'm so serious. This is as close to being inside my head as ye lovelies are ever gonna get! :B

And Queen's completely gorgeous and thoroughly underrated song, "Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)" was playing in my dream, heard it so strongly. And it just seems - right. I don't know. Since then it just conjures up so many images of parallel worlds, other worlds, mirror-worlds. Call it whatever ye like, Heaven and Earth, something - just two place separated. And it's impossible to see between, but things like love and memory can penetrate the veil or at least make it thin for a moment.

I don't know who the girl or the angel-boy are in my dream - just as in the lineart, I never saw their faces - but I can guess.

So yeah. I wanted the top half to be really gentle colors, pastoral, dreamlike, and the bottom to be harsher and more grungy, but it's very important that it not be perceived as Hell, because it ISN'T. No angel so kind could live there - and no, before any smarty-pants pipe up, it's certainly not Lucifer! I just hope I got that right.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, - this is one of the coolest artistic things I've ever had a part in, and I know I said it before, but I really do adore yer style and the elaborate individual details and touches ye put in here; it's really amazing! Let's do this again, buddeh, any time at all!
