This is what happens when I'm re-dorkening with Animorphs, staying up until 3 AM, and hopped up on cranberry juice. _{Don't ask.}

DAMN I LOVE GAFINILAN AND MERTIL SO MUCH. My heart belongs to brave, dying, handicap-outcast, doomed gay andalites. THEY'RE, LIKE, SHAKESPEAREAN.

And Finding Nemo.

This madness came from the Animorphs LJ community, where I uploaded some G/M drabbles, which were unabashed tearjerkers (like they... are...), when someone said they really needed some love and lulz, "as fluffy as baby lambs."

And I've always seen Mertil (maybe because we know NEXT TO NOTHING about him and he's totally up to reader interpretation) as being the lighter, more optimistic one, who isn't intimidated by Gafinilan's HONOR DUTY DIE WITH DIGNITY bluster, and can make him crack a smile. Or at least look over with one stalk eye.

I like the idea of andalites having white-ish hair like Andorians. TREKKIE NERD HO. And therefore, Gafinilan gets sexy stubble.
