Yay for totally unrelated song title references! xD

This is what I was GOING to upload on Sept 5th, Freddie's birthday, but I have another drawing I like a whole lot more which I'll be uploading then. So, here's this one to... tide everyone over? I dunno. Felt like sharing. :3

Other reason for uploading this now and not his birthday is that - it's not very CELEBRATORY. Srsly, this made me SAD drawing it - primarily because I am a CRAZY PERSON. Eh, the other one's a lot more cheerful and more YAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY WHEE. <3

Texture used for the BG ONLY. Seriously. All the skin and suit-shading is me (though a couple mixed filters did come in handy for the suit texture). I actually really like knowing I can do stuff without textures. :B

Though this IS a new coloring style, so it's not nearly as refined as it will be eventually.

AH - and critiques are WELCOME, but if it's about the hands... I know. xD I used a reference that was very high-contrast and bright, and with the white gloves/white bg/white suit-bits, couldn't for the life of me tell where the fingers began and ended, it was pretty much one big white blur - so hands are ref-less. I hate drawing hands. xD Even when they're Freddie's hands.
