Rest in the highest peace.

Sometimes I am just grateful that human beings existed. And my grief for their passing is outweighed by the overwhelming happiness and love for them and the beauty they created in their time here.

Thank you for giving us these characters - my childhood would have been a much bleaker, sadder, more frightening place without Virgil and Richie, Static and Gear. Thank you for realizing that a character's - a person's - merit, personality, history and future is not determined by their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, identity, or gender. Thank you for seeing the person.

My only regret is that I wasn't able to tell you this in person. I didn't want to shake your hand, I wanted to wrap you in a bear hug and give you a kiss on the cheek, and tell you that you made my world a better place, like I know you did for many other young geeks, and everyone who felt like they were alone, on the outside looking in.

Gravity. Don't mean that much to me. <3
